Solmistudio Debuts Furniture & Lighting Collection Rooted in Craft, Material, and Tradition.

New York, May 2025 — Solmistudio unveils its debut collection of furniture, lighting, and objects — a material conversation between form, function, and memory. Designed between New York and Italy, the collection draws from a metalsmithing lineage and a commitment to excellence and beauty. Presented during NYCxDesign at Twelve Chairs Gallery, Furniture & Form featured five original pieces that bring together tradition and innovation. The launch marks the studio’s first public showcase. Founded in 2023 by Mauro Solmi, the studio merges a heritage of hands-on fabrication with a contemporary design sensibility. Each piece is produced in close collaboration with skilled artisans in Mantova, Padova, Carrara, and New York.
