Helen Returns to Troy

Troy (NY), October 2025 — Helen returned to where it all began. In collaboration with Weathered Wood, Solmistudio presented the latest work in Troy, New York — celebrating the city’s craft heritage and the first Hudson Valley brick that inspired the project. Hosted by Danny Killion of Weathered Wood, the event brought together local makers and artists for a day of storytelling, photography, and light. The Helen series — Hudson Valley brick reimagined as light — remains on view at Weathered Wood as a reflection of the city enduring spirit of invention and material memory.
